You’re a laid-back couple who want a beautiful but relaxed wedding day, with a group of just your favourite people at an epic but chilled location. You’re looking for a wedding photographer that knows their stuff, who will tell you what you can do beforehand to get the most stunning imagery possible. You’re looking for someone who is so thoroughly prepared she won’t bother you on your wedding day itself because her team know what they’re doing so well that they seem as relaxed and happy as if they were one of your guests.
Are you planning your wedding or elopement on one of the beautiful beaches, in a picturesque church or a gorgeous olive grove in Greece? Well, Greece has it all and it’s my absolute favourite destination for a romantic wedding abroad. Mediterranean food, epic landscapes and picturesque villages. I love it! And how about the fantastic light on the Greek islands, it really doesn’t get better than that!
Wedding Photographer in Greece
I am Renate van Dijk and I am a wedding photographer and the founder of Wit Photography. I specialise in destination weddings in Europe and I am based in The Hague, London and Belgrade. I photograph weddings all over Europe and I love destination weddings. Have a look at my wedding photography portfolio and find out where I have been travelling to because of this passion. I would love to photograph your wedding in Greece because I am addicted to traveling. But I love traveling even more when I get to photograph awesome couples at all kinds of gorgeous places. I mean the caldera views on Santorini, the breathtaking Peloponnesus, the ancient Greek temples or the picturesque cobblestone villages of the Greek Islands are all swell and stuff but it’s not half as good as placing a loving and fun-loving couple within that frame. You can read here why I think Greece is the most amazing place for a destination wedding.
Are you looking for your wedding photographer for your wedding or elopement on the Greek islands, don’t hesitate to contact me. Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, the Peloponnesos, Paros, Spetses, I can go on and on about all the gorgeous places in Greece where you can have the wedding of your dreams!
My love for Greece makes me return regularly to this beautiful country. In April of last year I visited Athens for a short vacation and not long after I visited the little island of Spetses, which is very popular amongst the Greek people themselves, for a photo shoot. Next year I'll be visiting Mykonos and this year I shot a wedding on the Greek island Skiathos.
Every year I travel to Greece for my work as a wedding photographer but nevertheless I had never had the privilege to shoot at the extraordinary island of Santorini. Until 2020 (of all years!), when I finally had the opportunity to shoot in the Santorini villages Oia and Imerovigli. Santorini is a unique and elegant destination and the perfect place for a wedding abroad. The legendary sunsets and Caldera views are breathtaking! So don’t hesitate to contact me if you are looking for an English speaking wedding photographer for your wedding in Greece. I can’t wait to photograph more weddings, elopements and love shoots in Greece and on the Greek islands!
I'm sure you've already fallen in love with Greece as the location for your destination wedding, but in case you need some more convincing: I'm sure this article on the reasons to choose Greece as your wedding destination will convince you.
And if you happen to be looking for a beautiful wedding venue in Greece, a stylist working in Greece, a make up artist or a videographer also sent me an email. I’ll gladly help you and I will share all my favourite Greek wedding vendors with you.
