Do you love London and can’t you imagine getting married anywhere else than your favourite capital? Or do you see yourself eloping at the beautiful and rocky coast of Cornwall or one of Cornwalls many subtropical gardens? Or maybe you have lost your heart, like I have, to one of the English cities like Oxford, the Georgian sandstone town of Bath, Cambridge, Brighton, medieval Canterbury, Manchester or seaside town Folkestone? Of course you could always combine your destination wedding in England with a romantic getaway in the world famous Lake District or the picturesque Cotswolds.
Wedding Photographer in England
I am Renate van Dijk and I am a destination wedding photographer and the founder of Wit Photography. I specialise in weddings abroad in Europe and I am based in The Hague and London. I photograph weddings everywhere in Europe and I love destination weddings. Have a look at my wedding photography portfolio and find out where I have been travelling to because of this passion. I would love to photograph your wedding in England or Scotland because I am addicted to traveling but I love it even more when I photograph awesome couples at all kinds of gorgeous places around the world. But most of all because I’m an Anglophile, I love everything British and shooting weddings in the UK is one of my favourite things to do. I mean the Scottish highlands, the beautiful London skyline or picturesque cobblestone villages are all swell and stuff but it’s not half as good as placing a loving and fun loving couple within that frame.
The UK usually isn’t an obvious choice when looking to get married abroad. Nevertheless I totally get engaged couples who would like to get married in England, Scotland or Wales. England is my favourite country in the world! I would move there full-time in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for my boyfriend who prefers to stay in the Netherlands. I’m available for weddings throughout the United Kingdom to shoot your intimate, romantic and laid-back wedding or elopement. I studied in Bath and Canterbury and because my dad lived in England when I was a teenager I’m also very familiar with the area around Folkestone, Dover, Hythe and Sandgate. And I can give you lots of tips on having a stress free elopement or destination wedding in London.
Previously I photographed several weddings in Somerset (where I also studied), London, the subtropical Cornish coast, Aberdeenshire. And this year too I will shoot weddings in the United Kingdom, for which I will travel to London, Hythe, Bath and the Lake District. I can’t wait to shoot even more weddings, elopements and love shoots in other locations in the UK! So don’t hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales. I can’t wait to hear all about your wedding plans.
Whether you’re planning an intimate luxury wedding in Mayfair, a quirky and alternative wedding at Asylum London in Southwark, are organising a wedding in a West End theatre or are thinking of an elegant minimal wedding on the English countryside, I will be there from the getting ready till the first dance. I wouldn’t want to miss a second and in case you’re looking for a wedding location in the UK, a fabulous stylist, a wedding planner or a florist feel free to contact me as well, I’ll gladly help you out!
I will help you find the best British vendors. And I’m pretty sure we will find the perfect match for you and your partner so that everything on your wedding day will be just as you imagined it would be.
