New: Destination wedding photography workshops

Starting 2017 I am setting up a destination wedding workshop series. Previously I teached at the workshops of others and have offered 1-to-1 mentoring. Since some time I had been thinking of setting up a workshop series designed specifically with the European destination wedding photographer and budding destination wedding photographer in mind. Destination wedding photography worskhop in Cornwall [United Kingdom]

The first workshop will be in Cornwall on April 5th and 6th. Cornwall is in the South-West of England and is famous for it's subtropical climate. Therefore it is a very popular region amongst English couples as a backdrop for there semi-destination wedding. The tropical greenery, wonderful coastlines and the many beautiful gardens almost make people forget that there is also often a lot of rain. Whenever I've been to Cornwall the weather was wonderful though. And lets's be honest, it does occasionally rain in Portugal, Spain, Italy or Greece as well. And at any rate, rain is much easier to accept in a tropical climate.

What will you learn?

It will be a 2 day workshop (with the option to sign up for just one of the 2 days) in which we've teamed up with award winning UK wedding photographer Liberty Pearl Photography, stylist Inspire Hire and social media specialist Oh So Social. Besides a number of amazing and utterly beautiful styled shoots (you'll work with a real couple as well as models) the workshop also includes some classes. In these jam packed 2 days we'll cover the following subjects:

+ Bonus: anyone staying the night at Tredudwell Manor will get a free 30 minute 1 to 1 mentor session with either Renate of Wit Photography or Amber of Liberty Pearl Photography.

All this goodness will take place in Tredudwell Manor, an original Queen Anne Country Manor House (from 1705 AD!). Which is set in its own peaceful gardens and woodlands with stunning rural views stretching out to Cornwall’s Heritage Coastline.

Future workshops

There are more destination wedding photography workshops coming up in 2017 en 2018 in Ibiza, Andalusia (Spain), Austria (in winter), Iceland, France and many more locations. Although I am more than happy to translate a word or two in Dutch, the workshop will be entirely given in English. This way the workshops are open to an international group of photographers and you'll have your own little international community after the workshop.
