This is an old blogpost, my photography style has changed since then. View my current portfolio.
Mara & Harmen's day started at their home in The Hague, where Mara and her 2 little boys were getting ready for the big day. In good Dutch tradition Harmen came to pick up his bride (and sons) to get married in the beautiful stately city hall of the famous town of Delft. After the ceremony the wedding party moved to event venue and former sheep shed De Schaapskooi but not before we did a photoshoot under the cherryblossoms in the Arboretum Heempark. After a delicious dinner at De Schaapskooi and a piece of wedding cake (perfectly created by the brides sister) their was a night ahead of us filled with entertainment. Among other acts I had the privilege to enjoy the wonderful musical skills of the Fenominals. If you're even looking for an a capella group, these are your girls! Not only are they very good (and I use to be a professional singer myself in a former life, so I sort of believe I know this stuff) they have a very versatile repertoire. They sing modern songs but if you love the Andrew Sisters they'll definitely won't let you down either.
