Dominique and Davin chose to get married in one of my favorite wedding venues in The Netherlands. The Metaal Kathedraal in Utrecht is a building with some history. Once a church, it was transformed into a side car factory when a floor was added in the middle of the building, leaving the upper floor to become a beautiful space shaped by the stunning woodwork of the former church. Besides the perfect combination of industrial and romantic, the Metaal Kathedraal also has the most beautiful soft light coming in from its windows (like most photographers, I’m a sucker for pretty light). And only last month they announced that from now on they will only serve plant based and meat free catering, something (being a vegetarian myself) I can only applaud. I hope you enjoy looking at all the pretty in this wedding as much as I did shooting it!
Davin & Dominique not only chose an utterly amazing venue but all their vendors were the best in the Dutch wedding industry. Here’s the dream team of this wedding:
Groom’s Suit: Suits at Sea Groom’s Shoes: Magnanni Shoes Bride’s Dress: Covers Couture Bride’s Shoes: Prada Stationery: Van Moois Wedding rings: Judigje Edelsmid Hair & Make up: Resa Hair Flowers: JStijl Wedding Cake: Sugarlips Cakes Sweet Table: Nici’s Bakery Venue: Metaal Kathedraal Eventplanning: Maxime Visser
