Daria & Jules' Wedding Story
Daria and Jules decided on a microwedding on the French Riviera. As big fans of the Cote d'Azur sun and it's belle epoque villa's, the choice for a microwedding at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild wasn't difficult to make. And so the beautiful couple together with wedding planner AMV Weddings started to plan their wedding at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Nice.

In the perfection that is the garden of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, the ceremony in the Florentine garden was lead by one of Daria's bridesmaids. Of course this made for a ceremony that was super personal and it was full of laughter. And when Daria had a tearful moment, Jules quickly handed her a handkerchief, which made for a beautiful heartfelt moment. The stunning view over the bay makes for pretty photos, but it is an especially gorgeous setting with the stunning floral arch backdrop that was created by Miss Rose by Perrine.
The Reception at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
After the ceremony followed a reception with champagne and a dinner in front of the epic pink villa. This beautiful main garden includes a geometric lawn, cypresses, palm trees and even a musical fountain. They were served a delicious 8 course feast of flavours. Amongst many other things they included cucumber ceviche, sweet potato gratin, chantenay carrots, roast fillet of East Linton beef, shallot petals and pavlova. The dinner ended with the cutting of the flower-enveloped wedding cake.
Hereafter we took some time to take photos in some of the different gardens. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild has 9 very different gardens, some of them are inspired by different countries like Spain, Japan, Italy, Mexico and the French Provence.
