The Story
As a destination wedding photographer who has been in the business for 10 years, I have seen my fair share of beautiful weddings as well as stunning editorial styled shoots. But when I attended an event hosted by Janna Brown Design I was blown away by her design skills as well as her ability to surprise and delight all who attended.
Ceremony set up of dreams on the shore of Lago di Como
For years I have been shooting destination weddings in Italy but had often longed to travel to Lake Como. A place I can only describe as an oasis of beauty. In this shoot Janna Brown Design was able to design a ceremony set up like no other. With the aisle seemingly reaching up to the sky as the aisle first seems to merge into the stairs and with the high foliage surrounding the space it seems to go up unto the mountains, that are shone upon by the last light of the day. The aisle being surrounded by gorgeous shades of dusty pink and classic whites, is the bow around a perfect setting.
The venue
The cream coloured walls of Villa Sola Cabiati were our background on land and it's beautiful gardens and intricate frescoed walls and ceilings are a treat for the eyes. After having shot several scenes in- and outside of the this beautiful villa, we stepped aboard a classic boat.
