About This Shoot
Stylist Wendy of Something Borrowed Something Blue:
"In a time where everything seems to go faster and faster, where we do what has to be done and where time seems to be fleeting more than ever before, I wanted to create a shoot that emphasizes on enjoying the preparations of the journey that is about to take off. The start of a new chapter in life, a moment of which some brides have dreamed of ever since they were little. The anticipation and journey is half the experience and enjoyment. So why not take your time, find a beautiful spot, surround yourself with all the little things that make you happy, so as to contemplate them and fully enjoy this moment in itself. With this shoot we went for the unexpected approach of the wedding experience. That’s why I dropped the ceremony and went for this location and filled it with some subtle fashion & lifestyle favorites. The location of the shoot is a historic hidden Roman Catholic church from 1751 which is recently converted to an amazing hidden gem in the center of Amsterdam. It's a very unique, authentic and exclusive apartment, Amsterdams best kept secret. Part 1 - is the journey of the Bride. Part 2 - the journey of the Groom & The Afterparty will follow."
